It's been a hectic summer.
It has been a hectic summer for me as I am sure it has been for everyone else, too. Almost no time at all to sit back quietly and think and definately little or no time to blog. Things should lighten up by the end of August once the kids are back in school and everyone's schedules settle back into the regular daily grind.
Summer's in the Northeast USA are short, very short. Last weekend we were camping about 20 minutes from home and already the early mornings and later evenings are so cool that you can see your breath when you speak.
Soon we will be heading into Fall, my personal favorite time of year. I hope all have had wonderful if busy summer interludes too. I'll be back with my thoughts soon. Take care everyone and check in when you can and let me know what you've been "up to". lol.

I'm homeschooling both of my two this year. I was talking with my oldest today, and like you mentioned, she likes Bible later in the day instead of first thing (so I guess I'll change our schedule around a bit- I'm flexible).
I'll be glad to trade in this scorching summer heat for a little frost in the a.m.!

@Punk_Rock_Mommy@xanga - yes, I've heard that some areas of the country have been having a lot of very hot weather. We have had a very cool and moist August so far. I am disappointed because we definately get our share of cold and damp during the fall, winter and spring. One could hope (and expect) the summer to have some sun and heat. All my squash and pumpkins are damping off. Oh, bother.
Summer has been VERY short. My friends and I camped Friday night, and it was just plain cold! Though Saturday, in the hot sun more than made up for it!
It's a good thing I LOVE autumn, huh?
This summer has been very short. I live in the upper midwest, and this morning I could see my breath. I'm excited for autumn, though...it's my favorite time of year too.
